Stepping out of the Shadows

Art has always influenced fashion, this seasons new collection was photographed in an art gallery. Reminiscing back to the 1960s abstract art movement and Hitchcock films. Where ‘Piet Mondrian’ art work was transformed into an ‘Yves Saint Laurent’ dress (1965) and “Ossie Clark” collection was bold with block geometric shapes. Creating sharp lines and dark shadows that will thrill and make a strong statement.

The collaboration at the “Onca” art gallery (Brighton) was like stepping back in time to Andy Warhol’s studio. With beautiful art work (Chris Wainwright, David Buckland, Jakob Belbin) hanging from gloss white walls, it was a blank canvas that needed a splash of fashion.

The new collection has Houndtooth wool and black Satin fabric to create a geometric style with a tailoring twist. It mixes vintage patterns and tailoring to create a modern fresh look that is striking and sophisticated.
